In 1995 Brian had finished his radio career and was concentrating on professional voiceover and documentary narration work as well as TV and Film acting.

He noticed that most of the actors who were auditioning for rolls had a head shot and resume’ but nothing to truly show off their abilities to the casting directors. He built a video production company, called it Astral and started doing actors and stunt performers demo reels from a basement studio in his home.

By the time he sold Astral in 2002 Brian had established his company as the top demo reel producer in the country with a client list that included some of Canada’s leading and most prolific actors, directors and stunt performers.

Astral also ventured into the highly competitive corporate video industry and produced several small to medium length video’s for his corporate clients.
