Almost immediately upon beginning my career in radio, I was being called upon to narrate commercials for off-station usage. That somehow morphed into a very busy voice over career which saw me bounce from studio to studio all over the spectrum doing commercials for Ernst hardware in Heart’s studio in Seattle, Little Mountain Sound, the Spot Shop, COCO and many others in Vancouver. I was even invited to narrate an IMAX movie sound track in LA.

It wasn’t long before I was doing corporate and documentary narration for all the major studios in town. Grace McCarthy
was then the Minister of Tourism in 1984 asked if I wanted to become the voice of the BC Government and I jumped at the opportunity to voice the corporate video’s for Skytrain, BC Parkway, Expo 86, The Pacific Rim Development and numerous other enterprises. Before I knew it I was in the 44% tax bracket. Life was good and damn busy.
